Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our cloud infrastructure, automating deployments, and enhancing the reliability and scalability of our systems. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in Azure environments, a strong background in CI/CD pipeline management, and a passion for delivering secure, high-availability solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and related tools
- Manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across environments (Dev, QA, Staging, Production)
- Implement and maintain automated security and compliance controls
- Work closely with development teams to streamline builds, testing, and deployment processes
- Manage resource provisioning and cost optimization within Azure
- Build and maintain observability tooling (logging, metrics, alerts) using tools such as Application Insights, Log Analytics, or Prometheus/Grafana
- Participate in on-call rotations to support production environments
- Drive continuous improvement of deployment strategies and operational workflows
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud services
- Proficient with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins
- Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates)
- Familiar with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes a plus)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python preferred)
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (App Insights, Log Analytics, etc.)
- Strong understanding of network, security, and compliance in cloud environments
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a regulated industry such as healthcare or finance
- Knowledge of HIPAA, SOC 2, or other compliance frameworks
- Familiarity with SQL Server, Azure SQL, and related database infrastructure
- Background in supporting microservice or service-oriented architectures
