We move fast and operate at a high bar—this role is for builders who are ready to ship real systems. You’ll work directly with the CTO, pushing code to live products used by real users from day one.
Based on your performance you'll be eligible to transition to a founding engineer role. As a potential founding engineer, you’ll help build critical parts of products that leverage AI for real-world impact—including Atherna, which is redefining how lawyers work, and GenomeX, which is advancing personalized treatments and preventative healthcare. On leadership's discretion, you might even be tasked with owning the development and delivery of one of our many products.

What You Will Do
- Ship Full Stack Features: You will be responsible for end-to-end development using Next.js (Frontend) and Node.js/Python (Backend).
- Build Agentic Systems: You will write the logic that allows multiple LLMs to "talk" to each other to complete multi-step tasks without human intervention.
- Manage Data Flow: Our codebases are large. You must understand how data moves from the database to the backend, through the AI processing pipeline, and to the frontend without breaking existing features.
Requirements
We need people who understand the fundamentals, not just how to copy-paste code.
- Backend: Strong command of Node.js or Python. You must understand REST APIs, WebSocket, and database interactions (SQL/NoSQL).
- Frontend: Proficiency in React or Next.js. You need to know how to structure components for a large application.
- AI/LLM Knowledge: You must have experience working with GenAI APIs. You should understand how to chain prompts and manage context windows.
- Cloud & DevOps: A willingness to learn and touch AWS/GCP infrastructure is required.
- Thick Skin: You will receive direct, unfiltered feedback on your code and logic. You must be able to iterate quickly based on feedback.
