Ingenium Talent has recently partnered with a Louisville-based organization to assist them in their search for a full-time Infrastructure and Cloud Engineer. The Engineer is responsible for delivering scalable, secure, and efficient infrastructure solutions across the enterprise. Key competencies for the position include a strong background in Azure, Microsoft 365, and networking technologies.
This is a hybrid role requiring candidates to be able to work onsite at least three days per week. All candidates must be local to the Louisville, KY area, and comfortable working in a hybrid arrangement.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Executes infrastructure projects aligned with business and IT strategic goals, with emphasis on Azure cloud services, Microsoft 365 administration, and enterprise networking.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to support the design and implement secure, high-performance solutions.
- Provides Tier 3 escalation support for complex technical issues, ensuring timely resolution and documentation
- Supports infrastructure-related activities, cloud- or on-premises, including networking, server, operating system, or security-related
- Expands cloud services to the enterprise in collaboration with other IT roles and the business
- Maintains and optimizes cloud environments, including identity management, hypervisors, Azure services, endpoint configuration, and network performance.
Qualifications include, but not limited to:
- 6+ years of experience in IT engineering or infrastructure roles, with hands-on expertise in Azure, Microsoft 365, and enterprise networking.
- 4+ years in executing complex cloud- and infrastructure projects independently
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Certifications in Azure, Microsoft 365, and networking (e.g., Cisco, CompTIA Network+) are strongly preferred
