Job Brief
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer (SDE 1) to support our infrastructure and platform engineering efforts. In this role, you will work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to help maintain, improve, and scale our infrastructure systems.
You should be eager to learn, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong foundation in DevOps fundamentals, cloud infrastructure, and automation. Your focus will be on reliability, operational excellence, and improving developer productivity.
Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining reliability, uptime, and availability of infrastructure systems
- Support development and maintenance of tools and automation to improve developer experience
- Help reduce operational toil through scripting and automation
- Contribute to monitoring, alerting, and logging setups (observability)
- Work on infrastructure monitoring using industry-standard tools
- Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot issues and improve processes
- Follow best practices for security, deployments, and system operations
Requirements & Skills
- 1–3 years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering
- Basic understanding of system design and distributed systems
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
- Experience with AWS or any other cloud provider
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, New Relic, or similar
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language
Preferred: Golang or Python (mandatory to have coding experience)
- Working knowledge of one or more databases:
MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
- Good understanding of Linux operating systems and basic networking concepts
