Azure DevOps Engineer – Enterprise Cloud Platform
About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Azure DevOps Engineer to help build, deploy, and operate secure, scalable cloud platforms in an enterprise environment. This role is focused on real production deployments, automation, and reliability — not just maintaining pipelines.
You will partner closely with software engineers, data teams, and security to enable fast, safe, and repeatable releases across multiple environments.
What You’ll Be Working On
- Designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions
- Deploying and managing Azure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM)
- Supporting containerized workloads using Docker and AKS (Kubernetes)
- Implementing deployment strategies (rolling, blue-green, canary) to minimize risk
- Improving monitoring, alerting, and observability using Azure Monitor and Application Insights
- Partnering with engineering teams to improve release reliability and deployment speed
- Participating in production support and incident response as needed
What We’re Looking For
We’re less focused on titles and more interested in what you’ve actually built and supported in production.
Required Experience
- Hands-on experience deploying applications and/or infrastructure on Microsoft Azure
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps Pipelines, YAML-based workflows)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates)
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (AKS preferred)
- Experience supporting production environments and troubleshooting deployments
Nice to Have (One or More)
- Experience in enterprise or regulated environments (finance, healthcare, utilities, government)
- Monitoring and reliability experience (alerts, SLIs/SLOs, incident response)
- Platform or tooling experience (reusable pipelines, internal deployment frameworks)
- Security-focused DevOps or DevSecOps experience
