We are looking for a DevOps Manager to help us build functional systems that improve the customer experience. DevOps Manager can be responsible for deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet our customer's needs.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in software engineering and be familiar with CI/CD tools like Devops, and will work with developers and engineers to ensure that software development follows established processes and works as intended. The DevOps Manager will also be responsible in building/implementing new infrastructure needs in public cloud services.
Objectives of this role
- Building and implementing new development tools and infrastructure.
- Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes.
- Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats.
- Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows
established processes and works as intended.
- Understanding the needs of clients and internal team and work towards solving those requirements.
- Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and fixes.
- Knowledge of AWS Services.
Required skills and qualifications
- Experience as a DevOps Manager or in a similar software engineering role.
- Proficiency with at least one source code version control solution Github,Bitbucket.
- Proficient build and release management and experienced in one of the CI/CD tools(Devops/Jenkins, preferably Devops) including setup, templating and configuration.
- Managed Docker Orchestration and Docker Containerization using Kubernetes.
- Experienced in using different devops tools for artifactory, vaults, code scanning tools.
- Problem-solving attitude.
