Role Summary:
Manage team of DevOps engineers, move legacy products into the GIT branching strategy, migrate source code from SVN to Bitbucket, track day to day deliverables, planning,
What will you do?
Cloud: Oracle and AWS. Good to have experience in Nutanix.
•Central CICD pipeline using Jenkins setup covering all the products.
•Enforce and leverage uniform GIT branching strategy for all products.
•Integrate Sonarqube for code scan, Jfrog for vulnerability scan as part of every CICD pipeline.
•Integrate test automations as part of CICD (enforce test automations).
•Implement observability to improve monitoring, troubleshooting, and setup alerts.
•Enforce Infrastructure_as_Code for server provisioning and Ansible or similar scripting for application deployments.
•Implement schedulers for applicable servers.
•Enable accessibility via DevOps Central dashboard to manage server startups, new server requests, agent installations, monitoring etc.
•Develop control plane for SaaS deployments.
•Implement one click deployments.
•Explore possibilities to containerize legacy applications.
•Use FinOps tool to monitor cloud spending.
•Track anomalies; products that are consuming abnormally high or low cost and flag them.
•Track server usages against cost spend and recommend right sizing.
•Establish connect with finance team to develop the required features that will help improve the cost tracking effectively.
•Enable seamless access to all the leaders in the org. Develop powerful dashboards, charts and reporting capabilities
