- Strong experience with Chef (cookbooks, Policyfiles, Ruby DSL) for OS baseline configuration and automated Linux onboarding.
- Hands‑on ownership of Golden Image / AMI engineering, including monthly patching, hardening, validation, versioning, and cross‑account/region replication.
- Skilled in building and maintaining AWS AMIs and Azure Shared Image Gallery images with required security and monitoring agents.
- Proficient in Terraform (AWS & Azure)—developing reusable modules, implementing secure defaults, and integrating with remote state and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with automation and CI/CD using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps for image builds and IaC workflows.
- Familiar with testing and validation frameworks: Test Kitchen, InSpec, Terraform fmt/validate/lint, and compliance checks.
