Job Requirements
We are seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer who specializes in DevOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to drive automation, scalability, and reliability across our cloud and on-prem environments. This role is hands-on and leadership-oriented — you will architect, implement, and mentor teams on IaC best practices while ensuring seamless integration with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native systems.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Design, implement, and maintain IaC frameworks using Terraform.
- Standardize infrastructure provisioning across cloud, hybrid, and on‑prem environments.
- Create and maintain reusable Terraform modules and templates for consistent deployments.
- Integrate policy-as-code and automated validations into IaC pipelines.
Cloud & Containerization
- Architect, deploy, and manage production-grade infrastructure on AWS (EKS, S3, VPC, IAM, EC2, etc.).
- Support and optimize containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Manage Kubernetes deployments using Helm charts (custom helm charts, chart repositories, templating best practices).
- Implement robust scaling, self‑healing, and high-availability cluster patterns.
Monitoring & Reliability
- Build and manage monitoring, logging, and observability stacks using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog.
- Implement alerting, SLO/SLIs, logging pipelines, and performance dashboards.
- Lead incident response, automate runbooks, and perform root‑cause analysis for outages.
Security & Compliance
- Integrate security guardrails directly into IaC templates and cluster configurations.
- Automate compliance scanning, vulnerability assessments, and configuration drift detection.
- Work closely with security teams to strengthen cloud and Kubernetes security posture.
Team Leadership
- Mentor DevOps engineers in Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, and automation best practices.
- Define and enforce DevOps/IaC standards, governance, and documentation.
- Participate in architectural reviews and drive DevOps excellence across the org.

Work Experience
Must Have Skill
- 6+ years of experience in DevOps/Cloud Engineering roles.
- Strong experience with Linux administration.
- Expertise in Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes (EKS)
- Hands‑on experience with Helm (Helm chart authoring, templating, packaging, CI automation).
- Solid understanding of AWS (EKS, VPC, S3, networking, IAM).
- Strong fundamentals in networking (DNS, ingress, routing, load balancing).
- Proficiency in Bash and Python for automation.
- Experience with observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Nice to Have Skill
- Experience with JFrog Artifactory
- Managing on‑prem Kubernetes clusters.
- Platform engineering experience.
Work Experience
- Must have 6+ years of experience in DevOps/Cloud Engineering roles.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and effectively communicate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
