Job Description – DevOps Engineer
Location: Noida, India (Hybrid) – overlap with US Eastern hours required

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on DevOps Engineer to join the engineering team at Codespire Solutions, a leading enterprise AI product engineering organization. This role is central to managing Kubernetes-based deployments, building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with integrated security, and operating within tightly controlled cloud environments. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our AI-driven platforms, including Smart RFQ AI, Supplier Match AI, Nyayra Law, and more. The role demands someone who thrives in a high-stakes, regulated engineering environment and is passionate about infrastructure management and automation.
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be pivotal in maintaining multi-environment Kubernetes deployments, enforcing security standards for containers, and ensuring every release passes stringent compliance checks before reaching production.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Kubernetes & Cloud Infrastructure:
- Manage Kubernetes-based PaaS deployments across development, staging, and production environments.
- Ensure strict environment promotion controls and security standards for multi-environment workflows.
- Support AWS infrastructure, including services such as SageMaker, S3, EC2, IAM, and network configurations.
CI/CD & Security:
- Build and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines with integrated security gates, including Nexus artifact management, Fortify SAST scanning, and SonarQube code quality checks.
- Containerize applications using Docker and ensure all container images pass compliance and vulnerability scans.
- Manage Secrets Vault integrations for secure credential and configuration management across environments.
- Configure and maintain Splunk pipelines for compliance audit logging and operational monitoring.
Monitoring & Observability:
- Set up Datadog and OpenTelemetry instrumentation for application observability across services.
- Implement logging, tracing, and monitoring using tools such as Splunk, Datadog, and OpenTelemetry.
Collaboration & Compliance:
- Coordinate Tech Board approval workflows and OSPO (Open Source Program Office) sign-off for new package introductions.
- Handle DNS configuration, URL whitelisting, and service integration for new external connections.
- Ensure all releases pass compliance checks before production deployment.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of hands-on Kubernetes experience: deployments, namespaces, services, config maps, secrets, and multi-environment promotion.
- Strong CI/CD pipeline experience with Jenkins, including building, maintaining, and troubleshooting end-to-end pipelines.
- Hands-on Docker experience: writing Dockerfiles, optimizing image layers, building and pushing to artifact registries.
- Familiarity with Secrets Vault or equivalent secret management solutions (e.g., HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager).
- Experience with AWS cloud services: IAM policies, networking, environment configuration, and SageMaker environments.
- Experience with security scanning tools such as Fortify, SonarQube, or equivalent SAST/code quality platforms.
- Familiarity with Splunk or similar platforms for log shipping, alerting, and compliance dashboards.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure).
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Datadog, OpenTelemetry).
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools, containerization, and cloud-native technologies.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements and security best practices for cloud deployments.
