AjnaLens is looking for a Head – DevOps to join our Engineering team at Thane (Maharashtra – India).
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader with 10+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and platform engineering. This role is ideal for someone who can drive DevOps vision, build scalable infrastructure, and lead high-performing teams to ensure reliability, security, and efficiency across all systems.
In this role, you will work closely with engineering, product, and leadership teams to define infrastructure strategy, optimize deployment processes, and ensure our platforms operate at scale with high availability and performance.

1. Drive and oversee infrastructure strategy, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance across systems.
2. Lead and mentor the DevOps team, ensuring efficient CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
3. Monitor system health, security, and performance while proactively resolving risks and bottlenecks.
Minimum Work Experience / Education Required:
- 10+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering roles.
- Proven experience in leading DevOps teams and managing large-scale distributed systems.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Top 5 Skills You Should Possess:
1. Strong expertise in Kubernetes, containerization, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
2. Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
3. Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).
4. Strong knowledge of system architecture, scalability, and high-availability design.
5. Leadership and stakeholder management skills with the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.
What You’ll Be Expected to Do:
- Define and implement DevOps strategy aligned with business and engineering goals.
- Lead, mentor, and scale the DevOps team, fostering a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
- Design and manage scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure across environments.
- Oversee CI/CD pipelines, ensuring fast, reliable, and automated deployments.
- Implement best practices in security, compliance, and access control across systems.
- Drive observability by setting up monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to streamline development and release cycles.
- Continuously evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies to improve efficiency and performance.
