Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cloud/DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines supporting mission-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure & Automation
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Work with core AWS services including:
- Amazon EKS (Kubernetes orchestration)
- AWS Lambda (serverless computing)
- Amazon S3 (object storage)
- AWS IAM (identity and access management)
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Ensure environments are reproducible, scalable, and secure.
CI/CD & DevOps Practices
- Develop, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab or Azure DevOps.
- Streamline code deployment, testing, and release processes.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to troubleshoot issues and improve system performance.
Reliability, Monitoring & Security
- Monitor system health and performance.
- Perform capacity planning and implement disaster recovery strategies.
- Apply security best practices and compliance standards across cloud environments.
- Contribute to cost optimization initiatives by analyzing resource usage and recommending efficient configurations.
Documentation & Collaboration
- Document processes, configurations, and architectural decisions.
- Support knowledge sharing and onboarding of new team members.
Required Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience working in AWS cloud environments.
- Proven expertise with:
- Amazon EKS, Lambda, S3, and IAM
- Linux/Unix systems administration
- Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Certifications
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate OR
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate
- RHCSA (Red Hat Certified System Administrator) OR
- RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer)
Technical Skills
- Strong experience with:
- DevOps tools: GitLab or Azure DevOps
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
- Scripting: Bash, Python (preferred)
- Containerization: Docker & Kubernetes
- Solid understanding of cloud networking, security, and automation.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Soft Skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with additional AWS services such as EC2, VPC, and RDS.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like CloudWatch and Prometheus.
- Knowledge of security best practices and CIS benchmarks.
- Experience with automation scripting (e.g., PowerShell).
