Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled AWS engineer (L5/L6) to lead large-scale data migration from Google Cloud Storage (GCS) to Amazon S3. This role requires deep hands-on expertise in AWS migration tools, infrastructure as code, and cloud data transfer strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end migration from GCS to S3
- Design and implement high-performance data transfer using AWS DataSync
- Build and manage infrastructure using AWS CDK (TypeScript)
- Optimize data transfer, security, and cost efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless migration
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS DataSync (must-have)
- Expertise in AWS CDK using TypeScript
- Solid experience with AWS services (S3, IAM, networking, monitoring)
- Proven experience in large-scale cloud data migrations
Good to Have
- Experience with Google Cloud Storage (GCS)
