Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Product Engineering team to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.
- Participate in end-to-end DevOps initiatives, addressing real-world challenges in network operations.
- Work effectively with cross-functional teams to plan, estimate, and execute deliverables.
- Apply industry-relevant estimation techniques to support project planning and execution.
- Demonstrate strong team collaboration and ownership while driving outcomes.
- Continuously learn and adopt new technologies to stay current with industry trends.
- Leverage network domain expertise (preferred) to enhance solution design and troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Linux/Unix administration (Red Hat/CentOS preferred).
- Strong coding skills in Python, combined with problem-solving skills.
- Experience with AWS/Azure/Google Cloud.
- In-depth knowledge of Docker containers and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with Helm charts and Terraform scripting.
- Proficient in troubleshooting skills with proven abilities in resolving complex technical issues.
- Hands-on experience with CI and CD tools (Jenkins, Nexus, Gitlab Etc. )
- Experience in working with microservices environments.
- Strong inclination for automation and test-driven development.
- Strong work ethic and ability to own projects/components
Good To Have
- Experience with any one of the web development frameworks (Flask/Django/Bottle) and experience with RESTful APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Configuration Management tools like Ansible/Puppet.
- Experience in VMware/OpenStack/KVM/Proximo platform management is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of Istio, Amazon EKS and GKE.
- Working knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
- Working Knowledge of ELK, Kibana, Grafana and HashiCorp Vault/Consul.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
