Cloud Engineer (DV Cleared)

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to support mission-critical national security programmes. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in automating software delivery pipelines within highly scalable, secure environments, particularly those leveraging open-source technologies.

Key Responsibilities
- Automate application and infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment in secure environments
- Contribute to the design and maintenance of scalable cloud-native systems
- Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary Agile/Scrum team
- Support continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
- Implement and maintain security best practices across cloud platforms
Core Technologies & Experience
- Cloud platforms (preferably AWS)
- Infrastructure as Code (e.g. CloudFormation)
- Containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon ECS)
- CI/CD tools (ideally DroneCI or similar)
- Version control systems (GitHub, GitLab, etc.)
- Linux administration and scripting (e.g. Bash)
- Configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible)
Desirable:
- Experience with AWS Developer Tools (CodePipeline, CodeBuild)
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles (e.g. network security, authentication, secure headers)
