Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on DevOps / DevSecOps Engineer to build and manage secure, audit-ready CI/CD pipelines for an Azure-based data platform.
You will drive end-to-end deployment automation (Dev → UAT → Prod) across Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Informatica IDMC, ensuring strong security, governance, and compliance with enterprise IT standards.
Must-Have Skills
- Experience with Azure Data Platform (Databricks + ADF + IDMC)
- Strong expertise in Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines, Git branching)
- CI/CD implementation for:
- Azure Databricks
- ADF pipelines
- Informatica IDMC deployments
- Knowledge of Azure Key Vault (secrets management)
- Experience with Entra ID / Azure AD (RBAC, SSO)
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps in enterprise environments
- Experience working with Dev / UAT / Prod environments
Good to Have
- Unity Catalog knowledge (permissions, lineage impact)
- ServiceNow integration experience
- Exposure to Azure Sentinel / security logging
- Experience in data reruns, reconciliation, DLP
- Knowledge of metadata-driven frameworks
- Experience in regulated industries / large enterprises
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for multi-environment deployments
- Enable automated promotion (Dev → UAT → Prod) with approval gates and audit controls
- Implement environment-aware deployments (parameterization, secrets, rollback)
- Build CI/CD for:
- Databricks (notebooks, workflows, jobs, asset bundles)
- ADF pipelines
- Informatica IDMC mappings
- Ensure dependency validation and controlled releases
- Develop rerun, recovery, and replay mechanisms for operational resilience
- Embed DevSecOps controls (RBAC, MFA, least privilege, secure secrets)
- Integrate pipelines with monitoring tools and ServiceNow
- Ensure compliance with IT security and audit standards
- Act as DevOps SPOC across engineering, security, and platform teams
