Job Description
Summary / Objective
DevOps Engineer to design and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS using Infrastructure as Code, automation tools, and containerization while ensuring system reliability and performance. You'll take ownership of security implementation through IAM and network policies, maintain comprehensive application performance monitoring, and build robust CI/CD pipelines that support our development teams.
Essential Functions
- Design, develop, and maintain AWS infrastructure using CloudFormation and CDK. Build and optimize continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Implement and maintain AWS security controls including IAM policies, Security Groups, network ACLs, and security best practices.
- Investigate and resolve infrastructure, application, and deployment issues. Collaborate with development teams and other stakeholders to diagnose problems, implement fixes, and prevent future occurrences
- Implement, configure, and maintain APM solutions to monitor application performance, system health, and resource utilization. Create dashboards, alerts, and logging strategies to ensure visibility into system behavior and quickly identify issues.
- Develop automation scripts and configuration management code using Puppet, Ansible, Python, Bash, and Go. Automate repetitive operational tasks, server provisioning, and environment configuration to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred: IT‑related field)
- BE/B Tech/ BCA/MCA Preferred
- Around 5 -8 Years of strong experience as a DevOps engineer or architect
- Strong proficiency automation scripts and configuration management utilizing Puppet and Ansible.
- Minimum of three years or more experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external systems.
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, Go, PowerShell or similar) Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Solid understanding of RHEL/Linux system administration
- Strong experience with AWS services and infrastructure management
