About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on expertise across modern CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and Azure cloud operations. The role demands hands-on engineering skills along with the ability to debug and optimize end-to-end DevOps workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain modern CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CICD
- Provision and manage Azure cloud resources including networking, identity, security, and cost optimization
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and ARM Templates on Azure
- Manage configuration automation using Puppet and Ansible
- Build and maintain multi-stage GitLab pipelines with secret management, artifacts, and runners
- Develop scripting solutions in Shell, PowerShell, and Python for automation
- Drive Git, GitOps, and version control workflows across teams
Must-Have Skills
- Hands-on experience with GitLab CICD, Puppet, and Ansible
- Proficiency across all phases of modern DevOps pipelines and CI/CD
- Strong Azure cloud skills – resource provisioning, networking, identity, security, cost awareness
- Infrastructure as Code using Terraform (on Azure) and ARM Templates – ability to read, write, and debug
- Working knowledge of GitLab CICD with multistage pipelines, secret management, artifacts, and runners
- Core OS skills (UNIX/Linux/Windows) with strong scripting in Shell, PowerShell, or Python
- Strong Git, GitOps, and version control workflow expertise
Good-to-Have Skills
- Monitoring tools – Azure Monitor, Alerts, Application Insights, Grafana, Prometheus, AppDynamics, Splunk
- Basic RBAC and Azure AD concepts (managing identities for automation)
- Secret management via Azure Key Vault
- Containerization knowledge
- Networking fundamentals
- Hands-on Middleware deployment automation with DevOps implementation exposure
- Background in DevSecOps or compliance-focused CICD
