Job Description
We are Looking for DevOps engineers who can build, test and maintain the
infrastructure and tools to allow for the speedy development and release of software. Needs
to be well versed with practices and processes that are intended to speed up and automate
aspects of the processes of developing, testing and releasing software, allowing for the
continuous delivery of software and software updates.
Skills-
● Solid Experience needed in designing and implementing code build, test, deploy
frameworks on multiple cloud platforms.
● Ability to learn existing infrastructure and non-disruptively improvise while planning
for next generation build deploy test frameworks
● Familiarity with the different commercially available cloud platforms and tools for
building the pipelines.
● A good understanding of Docker and kubernetes and experience with containerising
services.
● Understand the development and QA needs and come up with short term and long
term tasks for increasing the productivity of dev and QA teams like alerting, logging,
tools for analyzing the data.
● Write tools to maintain the storage needs, keeping proper backups and pruning the
unwanted artifacts.
● Understand and implement the security needs while coming up with the above
infrastructure.
Programming Needs-
● Proficient at Linux Shell scripts, Linux utilities, Python, Groovy, Jenkins scripts.
Working knowledge of Java and Powershell Scripting.
● Additional Background of Go, C# is a good thing to have.
● Infrastructure experience (the more of the following, the better)
● AWS - Cloud Formation, Boto, AWS CLI based automation, Policy framework, IAM,
ECS, ECR, Lambda, API Gateway, AWS Code deploy pipeline, S3, KMS, marketplace
images.
● Azure - VMs, Resource and Storage Groups, Key Vault, Market Place images.
● GIT - Gitlabs, Git hooks.
● Jenkins - Jenkins framework, Plugins, Security needs, Parallelization
● Slack - API integration, Productivity improvements using the Slack messaging.
● Artifactory - Jfrog.
● Add Virtualization layers - Docker, Kubernetes.
