Responsibilities
- Intelligently plan, build and own parts of the infrastructure.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines.
- Work closely with application developers and help build environments.
- Explore and identify the right tools for infrastructure/application monitoring.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure/application issues.
- Demonstrate a very high degree of ownership when it comes to system metrics.
- Build defence mechanisms to ensure information security.
- Work with auditors and Infosec counterparts from the bank to assure them of our data security.
- Own the documentation for processes and keep it up to date.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in building infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines using AWS, Terraform, Salt, Jenkins or any other standard tools.
- AWS: EC2 EKS, ECS, VPC, IAM, Route53 ALB, NLB, Auto Scaling, CloudWatch, WAF, S3 RDS, Elastic cache, MSK, Secrets Manager, CloudFront, etc.
- DevOps and Platform Engineering: CI/CD, GitOps, Infrastructure as Code, Terraform, CloudFormation, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Helm, Nexus, SonarQube, etc.
- Containers and Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Helm Charts, Ingress Controllers, Service Mesh, Autoscaling, Blue-Green & Canary Deployments, etc.
- On-Prem and Banking Infrastructure: Linux Administration, VMware, Hybrid Infrastructure, ETX/ETL setups, VPNs, Firewalls, Proxy Servers, SSL/TLS, NAC, HA Setup, Disaster Recovery, Compliance & Security Standards, etc.
- Middleware and Messaging: Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, Nginx, Apache, Tomcat, Redis, API Gateway, Load Balancers, etc.
- Monitoring and Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, Splunk, Datadog, Filebeat, Logstash, Alerting, Production Troubleshooting, RCA, etc.
- Automation, Scripting and AI Adoption: Shell Scripting, Python, YAML, Ansible, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT, AI-assisted automation, AI-driven troubleshooting, DevSecOps workflows, Engineering Productivity Tools, etc.
