Job Description - DevOps (Linux Admin)
Incumbent with the relevant experience of 2-3 years DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities
▪ Deploy and manage Linux servers on cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)
▪ Configure and maintain web servers — Nginx, Apache, HAProxy
▪ Manage IPTables / nftables firewall rules and network security policies
▪ Write and maintain Bash/Shell scripts for automation and monitoring
▪ Handle DNS, SSL/TLS, load balancing, and reverse proxy configuration
▪ Perform OS hardening, patch management, and security audits
▪ Monitor system performance and respond to incidents
Mandatory Skills
Hands-on experience required — will be assessed during interview.
▪ Linux Administration — RHEL / CentOS / Ubuntu in production
▪ Cloud Server Deployment — full-stack setup on AWS, GCP, or Azure
▪ IPTables — writing, auditing, and managing firewall rulesets
▪ Shell Scripting — Bash scripting, automation, and debugging
Advantageous
▪ CI/CD pipelines — Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
▪ Containers — Docker, Kubernetes, or Podman
▪ Infrastructure-as-Code — Ansible or Terraform
▪ Monitoring stacks — Prometheus + Grafana or ELK
Qualifications
▪ Degree in IT / Computer Science or equivalent experience
▪ RHCSA / RHCE or CompTIA Linux+ preferred
▪ Cloud certification (AWS/GCP/Azure) is a plus
