DevOps Engineer – Role Summary:
Team & Collaboration:
The role will join a DevOps team, currently 3 but will be 5 by end of year, supporting our engineering teams and infrastructure. Collaboration includes working closely with developers on development environments and partnering with a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team in India that is currently being hired.

Key Responsibilities:
- Own and maintain cloud and on Prem infrastructure for non-AW products.
- Support selects AW infrastructure for U.S. clients.
- Maintain uptime and SLA commitments using highly available cloud architectures.
- Support off hours cloud infrastructure as needed (emergency only; on call is informal and infrequent).
- Collaborate with developers on development environments.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automation, and broader engineering processes.
Technology Stack:
- Cloud: Microsoft Azure (App Services, networking, firewalls, VM scale sets, storage, monitoring).
- DevOps Tooling: Azure DevOps (projects, workflows, build and release pipelines, repositories).
- Infrastructure as Code: Azure Bicep.
- CI/CD: Azure DevOps.
- Environments: Hybrid (cloud and on prem).
On prem technology:
Must Have Experience:
- 3+ years of DevOps experience, with 2+ years previously in software engineering or infrastructure engineering.
- Strong CI/CD experience.
- Hands on Azure cloud experience, important to dig into experience with candidates from multi cloud environments – they often lean AWS.
- Experience with Azure networking (VM scale sets, firewalls, application gateways, and monitoring tools, etc).
Preferred / Nice to Have Skills:
- Strong Infrastructure as Code experience (Azure Bicep strongly preferred).
- Monitoring and logging experience.
- SQL knowledge.
- PowerShell or YAML scripting.
- Containerization experience (Kubernetes preferred but not required; training available).
