We’re hiring a Senior Snowflake Platform Engineer to join a high-performing enterprise data platform team supporting large-scale cloud data infrastructure.
This is a hands-on engineering role focused on Snowflake administration, platform automation, CI/CD, security, and performance optimisation across enterprise cloud environments.
If you’ve built and managed Snowflake as a platform rather than simply developed within it, this could be a strong fit.
What you’ll be doing
- Administering and optimising enterprise Snowflake environments
- Managing platform security including RBAC, encryption, governance, and audit controls
- Driving performance tuning, warehouse optimisation, storage efficiency, and cost management
- Building automation using Terraform, Python, SQL, and JavaScript
- Developing and maintaining Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
- Supporting cloud platform integrations across Azure and AWS
- Troubleshooting production platform issues and driving continuous improvement
What we’re looking for
- Strong experience in Snowflake platform engineering / administration
- Deep understanding of Snowflake architecture, security, governance, and performance optimisation
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Snowflake
- Terraform
- Azure DevOps / CI/CD
- Python
- SQL
- JavaScript
- Azure and/or AWS
- Background in enterprise data platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, or modern data warehousing
- SnowPro certification would be a bonus
