Overview
The Feature Teams within GCOO / GTE / HOS / CTS / CTN are responsible for developing, maintaining, and continuously improving the services that support our containerization offerings across public cloud (Azure & AWS )environments.
To strengthen the quality and reliability of its IT systems, the Beneficiary seeks to leverage the expertise of the Service Provider in the domain of IT system operations and cloud engineering.
The selected professional will contribute to the engineering, deployment, and operational excellence of container platforms delivered on AWS and Azure.
Key Responsibilities
- DevOps – Public Cloud (AWS & Azure)
The scope of services includes:
- Build Activities
- Design, build, and implement the technical infrastructure required to offer Azure and AWS services to applications.
- Deploy and configure Kubernetes clusters and related dependencies.
- Develop and integrate cloud‑native services including: DNS NTP Centralized logging Encryption services Security controls and compliance tooling
- Contribute to the creation and automation of cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) approaches.
- Run / Operations
- Ensure the operational maintenance and lifecycle management of container infrastructure.
- Monitor performance, availability, and capacity of containerized environments.
- Troubleshoot platform‑level issues related to cloud resources, networking, Kubernetes components, and security.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of operational processes and reliability practices.
- Product & Platform Management
- Support the Container Entity in providing secure, pre‑configured, and aggregated cloud services based on: AWS managed services Azure managed services
- Help deliver standardized, secure Kubernetes clusters packaged as internal products for application teams.
Certifications (Good to have any one of the following)
CKA/CKAD/AWS/AZURE Certified – Professional
Profile Required:
Primary: AKS(Azure kubernetes service) & EKS(Amazon Elastic kubernetes service) and good knowledge in Linux
Secondary: Devops, Harbor registry , Harbor registry , Python , Terraform
Over all JD :
- Should have minimum 9 - 14 years' working experience in Kubernetes.
- Preferably from a Linux Systems Admin or DevOps Engineering background.
- The candidates must have experience in Azure or AWS
- Monitor system events to ensure health, maximum system availability and service quality
- Manage the container platform ecosystem (installation, upgrade, patching, monitoring)
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and assist development team as necessary to resolve issues related to K8s.
- Answer user's query and service requests
- Solid experience in K8s Application troubleshooting
- Should have the basic knowledge about the CI/CD process
- Should have knowledge in Python programming
- Good to have knowledge in Ansible and Terraform

CKA/CKAD Certified
