Role Description The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to support software development and deployment processes. This full-time, on-site role in Delhi, India involves managing and automating infrastructure, monitoring system performance, and ensuring high availability and reliability of applications and services. The DevOps Engineer will collaborate closely with development and operations teams to streamline release cycles, improve deployment quality, and optimize resource usage. Daily tasks include managing Linux-based environments, troubleshooting production issues, implementing security and backup practices, and creating documentation for operational procedures and infrastructure changes. The role also includes evaluating new tools and technologies to enhance automation, scalability, and system resilience.
Qualifications
- Strong Linux and System Administration skills, including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of production environments.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible) to provision and manage cloud or on-premises infrastructure.
- Practical knowledge of Continuous Integration and related tooling (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) to build, test, and deploy applications.
- Foundation in Software Development practices (e.g., Git, branching workflows, basic scripting in Python, Bash, or similar languages).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and document systems and processes effectively.
- Experience with cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP), logging/monitoring tools, and security best practices is an advantage.
