Job Summary
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior DevOps Architect / Azure OpenShift Consultant with 15+ years of IT experience to lead enterprise-scale cloud transformation, DevOps modernization, and container platform initiatives. The ideal candidate should possess extensive expertise in Azure Cloud, Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, GitOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and CI/CD automation, with a proven track record of designing and delivering highly available, secure, and scalable cloud-native solutions.
The consultant will play a strategic role in architecting enterprise DevOps platforms, leading cloud migration programs, establishing DevSecOps best practices, and mentoring engineering teams across large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement enterprise-grade container platforms using Red Hat OpenShift, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Kubernetes.
- Lead migration of complex on-premises applications to Azure OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms.
- Design and implement GitOps-based deployment strategies using ArgoCD.
- Build scalable CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub, and GitOps methodologies.
- Design and automate cloud infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
- Lead multi-cloud infrastructure initiatives across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
- Establish Infrastructure as Code (IaC), GitOps, DevSecOps, and Platform Engineering best practices.
- Implement enterprise monitoring and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, and Splunk.
- Design secure networking, identity, governance, and compliance solutions across cloud environments.
- Automate Kubernetes lifecycle management, upgrades, scaling, security hardening, and disaster recovery.
- Implement Helm Charts, Kubernetes Operators, and container security best practices.
- Collaborate with architects, development teams, security teams, and business stakeholders to deliver cloud-native solutions.
- Mentor DevOps engineers and provide architectural leadership for enterprise modernization programs.

Required Experience
- 15+ years of overall IT experience in Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, and Platform Engineering.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with Azure Cloud.
- 6+ years of OpenShift and Kubernetes architecture and administration.
- Strong expertise in Azure DevOps, GitOps (ArgoCD), Terraform, and CI/CD automation.
- Proven experience leading enterprise cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
- Experience managing production Kubernetes/OpenShift environments supporting large-scale enterprise workloads.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, governance, networking, IAM, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience mentoring technical teams and providing architectural leadership.
