Role Summary
The TDM Lead will drive the Test Data Management strategy and implementation using Delphix, supporting a modern cloud data platform on GCP, with BigQuery and dbt at the core. The role requires deep hands-on expertise in Delphix along with strong understanding of cloud-native analytics environments, data transformations, and regulatory-compliant test data provisioning.
The candidate will work closely with QA, Data Engineering, Analytics, DBT developers, DevOps, and Security teams to ensure scalable, compliant, and automated non-production data management.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end TDM design and delivery using Delphix across GCP environments
• Implement and manage Delphix data virtualization, provisioning, rewind, and refresh
• Design and enforce data masking strategies for analytical and transactional datasets
• Support test data needs for BigQuery-based analytical workloads
• Collaborate with dbt teams to align test data provisioning with transformation pipelines
• Enable self-service test data access for QA and data engineering teams
• Integrate Delphix with CI/CD pipelines supporting dbt and analytics testing
• Define TDM governance, standards, and controls in a regulated BFSI environment
• Work with cloud, DBA, and platform teams for onboarding and optimization
• Act as the single point of accountability for TDM across test environments

Mandatory Skills (Must-Have)
Test Data Management & Delphix
• 6–8 years of experience in Test Data Management
• Strong hands-on experience with Delphix:
o Data virtualization (VDBs)
o Provisioning, refresh, rewind, snapshots
o Delphix Masking Engine and rule configuration
• Experience implementing TDM solutions at enterprise scale
Cloud & Analytics Platforms
• Hands-on experience working with GCP (Google Cloud Platform)
• Strong understanding of BigQuery:
o Analytical data models
o Partitioned and clustered tables
o Data volumes typical of enterprise analytics
• Experience supporting test data for reporting, analytics, and ML use cases
DBT & Data Engineering Collaboration
• Working experience with dbt (data build tool):
o Awareness of dbt models, sources, tests, and environments
o Understanding how test data impacts dbt transformations and downstream analytics
• Ability to align TDM provisioning with dbt test and deployment cycles
Compliance & Governance
• Strong understanding of data privacy, PII handling, and regulatory compliance (BFSI context)
• Experience implementing masking, access controls, and audit-ready processes
Leadership
• Proven experience acting as TDM Lead or Workstream Lead
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to guide teams and make independent technical decisions
Desired skills
Advanced TDM & Automation
• Experience with data subsetting and synthetic data approaches
• Automation using Python, Shell, or PowerShell
• Exposure to API-based integration with Delphix
DevOps & CI/CD
• Integration experience with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab
• Supporting automated testing for dbt pipelines and analytics workloads
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code concepts (Terraform preferred)
Cloud-Native & Analytics Enhancements
• Experience managing test data in cloud-only or hybrid data platforms
• Exposure to GCP IAM, security, and cost optimization
• Understanding of test data challenges for ML / AI pipelines
Domain & Delivery
• BFSI / Banking domain experience (preferred)
• Experience working in Agile / SAFe delivery models
