Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Engineering Manager DevOps & SRE role based in Hyderabad. The role is responsible for leading DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering teams that design, build, and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure infrastructure for Intellect’s financial technology platforms. Day-to-day activities include overseeing CI/CD pipelines, implementing reliability and performance monitoring, managing incident response and root cause analysis, and driving automation across build, deployment, and operations processes. The Senior Engineering Manager collaborates closely with software engineering, product management, and architecture teams to ensure smooth integration, production readiness, and continuous improvement of systems. The role also involves mentoring team members, setting standards and best practices, and aligning DevOps and SRE initiatives with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Engineering Management and Team Leadership skills to guide cross-functional DevOps and SRE teams.
- Candidates should possess solid Software Development experience, including familiarity with modern programming languages, CI/CD tools, and automation frameworks.
- Candidates should possess robust Project Management capabilities to plan, prioritize, and deliver complex infrastructure and reliability initiatives.
- Candidates should possess Integration skills to design and manage seamless connections between applications, services, APIs, and cloud/on-premises environments.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps and SRE practices, including observability (logs, metrics, tracing), incident management, capacity planning, and performance optimization.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Strong understanding of security, compliance, and resiliency in financial services or other regulated industries is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
