Position: DevOps / Monitoring Engineer
Experience: 5-7 years
Location: Chennai/ Hyderabad
Required Skillset (Must Have):
- Strong experience with Puppet configuration management
- Hands-on expertise in ELK stack administration and monitoring
- Experience with infrastructure automation and monitoring tools
- Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills
- Ability to analyze logs, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance Experience in end-to-end SDLC, including design, development, testing, and deployment
- Good understanding of enterprise application integration
Good to have:
- Experience in BFSI domain applications
- Experience with cloud platforms
- Hands-on experience in Java
- Knowledge of other DevOps tools (Ansible, Jenkins)
- Knowledge of microservices architecture
- Hands-on experience in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Exposure to Agile / DevOps delivery models
Key Responsibility:
- Develop and maintain Java-based applications with integrated ELK monitoring
- Manage and automate infrastructure using Puppet
- Implement and maintain monitoring/logging using ELK
- Ensure system stability and performance
- Support incidents, root cause analysis, and automation initiatives
- Support application observability, logging, and diagnostics
- ELK stack (log analysis, monitoring, troubleshooting)
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions
- Provide production support and participate in defect resolution and continuous improvement
- Ensure performance, scalability, and security of applications
- Work closely with operations and support teams for production stability
- Work closely with business analysts, testing teams, infrastructure teams, and release management during change and release cycles.
- Participate in DR drills, audits, and compliance reviews.
- Proactively identify opportunities for automation, performance tuning, and support optimization.
TCS Eligibility Criteria:
- *BE/B.tech/MCA/M.Sc./MS with minimum 6 years of relevant IT-experience post Qualification.
- *Only Full-Time courses would be considered.
- *Candidates who have attended TCS interview within 1 month need not apply.
