DevOps Engineer
We’re seeking a DevOps Engineer to support our software development lifecycle, leveraging
technical expertise to design and implement various CICD patterns while adhering to industry
standards. Responsibilities include active involvement in design and code reviews, ensuring
alignment with architectural goals, and collaborating across business divisions to provide build
solutions for new or updated applications. Key duties involve documenting DevOps processes,
maintaining DevOps platforms, and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the DevOps
team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement solutions addressing infrastructure and security requirements.
- Identify needs for build automation, designing and implementing CICD solutions.
- Consult on DevOps requirements with a diverse application/line of business partners.
- Create reusable solutions and patterns for CICD pipelines.
- Proactively build or maintain CICD building blocks and shared libraries for quicker deployment.
- Design action plans to address CICD platform/tools/solutions’ challenges.
- Participate in bridge calls with team members and vendors to address issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve DevOps domain problems.
- Maintain incident tracking tools and document discoveries and concerns.
- Identify and address management concerns promptly.
- Align with SDLC processes and industry-standard service management principles.
Required Skills And Experience
- 4+ years of related experience.
- Proficiency in various DevOps toolkits, including Ansible, Jenkins, Artifactory, Jira, Black Duck, Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes, Git etc
- Knowledge of DevOps Infrastructure Automation (e.g., Terraform, GitHub, GitHub Actions).
- Expertise in Implementing and maintaining Jenkins CI/CD pipelines to automate and streamline the software build, test, and deployment processes.
- Expertise in orchestrating and managing containerized applications using Kubernetes for scalable and resilient deployment solutions
- Hands-on experience in configuring Prometheus and Grafana to monitor and visualize application performance, providing real-time insights and analytics.
- Understanding of API Security, Container Security, and AWS Cloud Security.
- Familiarity with Amazon AWS policy, configuration, and security management tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and leadership capacity.
- Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly across different organizational levels.
