Role Summary
Seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to support enterprise-scale AWS cloud platforms, AWS Landing Zone Accelerator (LZA) environments, and modern platform engineering initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AWS, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD automation, Kubernetes orchestration, GitOps, and cloud-native architectures.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage AWS Landing Zone Accelerator (LZA) environments and multi-account AWS architectures.
- Build and maintain secure, scalable, and automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, AWS CDK, and AWS CloudFormation.
- Implement GitOps workflows using GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.
- Deploy, manage, and optimize Kubernetes platforms and containerized workloads.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployments, security controls, and operational processes.
- Support cloud migration, modernization, and platform engineering initiatives.
- Implement monitoring, observability, security, governance, and cost optimization best practices.
- Collaborate with development, security, and cloud operations teams to improve platform reliability and developer experience.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and enterprise-scale AWS environments.
- Experience implementing and managing AWS Landing Zone Accelerator (LZA).
- Proficiency in TypeScript for automation, infrastructure development, and platform engineering.
- Strong experience with AWS native DevOps services including CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, and related services.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools including Terraform, AWS CDK, and AWS CloudFormation.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Experience implementing GitOps deployment models using ArgoCD.
- Strong expertise in Docker containerization technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes orchestration platforms, preferably Amazon EKS.
- Knowledge of networking, IAM, KMS, VPC, Transit Gateway, security, and multi-account AWS architectures.
- Experience with Git, source control management, and automated deployment practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or related AWS certifications.
- Experience with Amazon EKS, Helm, Karpenter, and cloud-native platform engineering practices.
- Experience supporting large-scale cloud migration and modernization programs.
- Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization.
- Strong troubleshooting, automation, and stakeholder management skills.
