Responsibilities
Job Description:
Assist in designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud infrastructure within AWS environments.
Support AWS services including
EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Route 53, Security Groups, and Application Load Balancers (ALB).
Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using
Terraform.
Support containerized application deployments using
Docker and
Kubernetes (EKS).
Package and deploy Kubernetes applications using
Helm charts.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using
GitHub Actions.
Assist development teams with automated application deployments across development, test, and production environments.
Monitor cloud infrastructure and applications using AWS CloudWatch and respond to operational alerts.
Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking, and application issues.
Create automation scripts using
Python and
Bash to reduce manual operational tasks.
Support Linux-based application servers by performing system administration, patching, user management, and performance monitoring.
Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and production support activities.
Work closely with developers, QA, and security teams to improve deployment reliability and operational efficiency.
Maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks.
Follow DevOps, cloud security, and infrastructure best practices.
Required Qualifications
2 5 years of experience in a DevOps, Cloud Engineer, Systems Administrator, or Infrastructure Engineer role.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Experience supporting AWS cloud infrastructure.
Hands-on Experience With AWS Services Including
- EC2
- ECS and/or EKS
- S3
- RDS
- IAM
- VPC
- CloudWatch
Experience using
Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
Experience building or supporting CI/CD pipelines using
GitHub Actions.
Experience with
Docker containerization.
Familiarity with
Kubernetes fundamentals, including pods, deployments, services, namespaces, and ingress.
Experience using
Helm for Kubernetes application deployments.
Basic Linux administration skills.
Experience writing automation scripts using
Python and/or
Bash.
Familiarity with Git version control.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
