About the Role
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, automation, and containerized deployments. The ideal candidate will help manage and improve our cloud environments, deployment pipelines, monitoring systems, and security practices.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Monitor application and infrastructure performance using monitoring tools.
- Manage Linux servers, networking, and security configurations.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Configure and manage databases, backups, and disaster recovery processes.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with developers to optimize deployment processes and application performance.
- Implement security best practices, access controls, and compliance requirements.
- Maintain documentation for infrastructure, deployments, and operational procedures.
Required Skills
- 2–3 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Strong experience with Linux administration.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Route53, and Load Balancers.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Hands on experience with Linux commands
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Familiarity with scripting using Bash, Python, or Shell scripting.
- Understanding of networking concepts, DNS, SSL/TLS, VPNs, and firewalls.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog, or CloudWatch.
- Knowledge of Git and version control best practices.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with EKS, AKS, or GKE.
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB administration.
- Experience with security scanning and vulnerability management.
- Exposure to microservices architecture.
- Understanding of cost optimization in cloud environments.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant cloud certifications are a plus:
- Amazon Web Services Certified Cloud Practitioner / Solutions Architect
- Microsoft Azure Administrator
- Cloud Native Computing Foundation CKA/CKAD
