Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or higher
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on experience in modern DevOps tools and cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will have expertise in GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and AWS, along with experience in infrastructure automation using Terraform and Ansible.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Jenkins
- Manage containerization and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and configuration management using Ansible
- Deploy and manage applications on AWS cloud platforms
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline build, release, and deployment processes
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability
- Use tools like SonarQube for code quality and Postman for API testing
- Participate in requirement gathering and translate business needs into technical solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, deployment, and performance issues
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Grooming, and Retrospectives
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and Ansible
- Good knowledge of AWS services and cloud architecture
- Experience in CI/CD pipeline design and implementation
- Familiarity with tools like Jenkins, SonarQube, Rally, and Postman
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices and automation
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Shell scripting
- Exposure to security best practices in DevOps (DevSecOps)
- Experience working in distributed teams or global environments
- Understanding of microservices architecture
