About the Role
We're looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and management of our cloud infrastructure and container orchestration platforms. This is a hands-on senior role for someone who can both architect solutions and get into the weeds of day-to-day operations, incident response, and automation — while contributing to a broader infrastructure modernization effort.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters in production, including scaling, upgrades, networking, and security hardening
- Lead or contribute to migration efforts from legacy orchestration platforms (e.g., Docker Swarm) to Kubernetes
- Architect, deploy, and maintain infrastructure across AWS and Azure, ensuring high availability, cost efficiency, and security best practices
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support reliable, auditable software delivery
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep, or similar)
- Own monitoring, alerting, and observability for production systems (e.g., Prometheus/Grafana, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor)
- Drive configuration management and change control practices that support audit and compliance requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2)
- Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive controls
- Collaborate with development, security, and compliance teams to align infrastructure practices with organizational policies
- Mentor junior DevOps engineers and help build team-wide operational maturity
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience specifically in a Senior DevOps Engineer role (5+ years overall DevOps/SRE/Infrastructure experience preferred)
- Strong, hands-on specialization in Kubernetes — cluster administration, workload scheduling, networking (CNI), storage, RBAC, and troubleshooting in production environments
- Demonstrated experience managing infrastructure and services on both AWS and Azure (not just one cloud)
- Solid experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and container registries
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools (Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent)
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD)
- Strong scripting/automation skills (Bash, Python, or similar)
- Working knowledge of networking, load balancing, and security fundamentals in cloud environments
- Experience with monitoring and observability tooling
- Strong troubleshooting skills and comfort operating in on-call/production-support rotations
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification (Associate or Professional) is a strong plus
- Experience with GitOps workflows (ArgoCD, Flux)
- Exposure to compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 or SOC 2, particularly around change management and audit evidence
- Experience with message queues, caching layers, and database infrastructure (RabbitMQ, Redis, MariaDB, MongoDB, or similar)
- Prior experience leading or contributing to a legacy-to-cloud-native migration

Someone who can operate independently, make sound architectural trade-offs, and communicate clearly with both engineering and non-technical stakeholders. You should be comfortable owning problems end-to-end — from initial diagnosis through to a documented, auditable fix.
