Job Brief:
We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Lead DevOps Engineer to join our innovative and fast-paced team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between software development and IT operations by driving automation, infrastructure management, and platform reliability. You will be responsible for designing scalable cloud infrastructure, optimizing deployment pipelines, ensuring high system availability, and enhancing the overall software delivery lifecycle.
As a senior member of the team, you will lead infrastructure initiatives, mentor engineers, and work with cutting-edge technologies to build secure, scalable, and resilient platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing our GCP/other cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
- Developing & managing the machine configurations using Ansible.
- Developing proactive alerts etc. using observability systems like Prometheus.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using automation tools like Jenkins.
- Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues.
- Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and fixes.
- Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended.
- Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes.

Skills and Requirements:
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar infrastructure/platform role.
- Strong proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows.
- Hands-on experience in Linux, GCP/AWS, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Terraform, Python.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong background in installing, configuring and managing linux servers.
- Strong at shell scripting and linux utilities, Packaging, configuring networks and security.
- Linux System Understanding", Understanding of LLM inferencing. REST API and Security Hardening
