- Containerization & Orchestration: Architect, maintain, and scale containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes across multi-cluster production environments.
- CI/CD & GitOps: Build, optimize, and maintain automated deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, and declarative YAML configurations.
- Cloud & API Management: Manage AWS cloud infrastructure, configure API Gateways, integrate REST APIs, and design architectures for High Availability (HA), fault tolerance, and disaster recovery.
- Production Application Support: Act as an escalation point for Tier 3/critical production issues; conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventative measures to ensure system uptime and strict SLA adherence.
- Observability & Monitoring: Implement and tune full-stack monitoring, distributed tracing, alerting, and log aggregation using Splunk and Dynatrace.
- Release Management: Oversee end-to-end software release cycles, coordinating blue-green/canary deployments, rollback strategies, and environment provisioning.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Apply foundational IaC principles (e.g., Terraform or AWS CloudFormation) to ensure standardized, repeatable environment configurations.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 10+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, and Enterprise Production Support.
- Cloud Platform: Deep expertise in core AWS services (EC2, EKS, VPC, IAM, S3, Route 53, CloudWatch).
- Containers & Orchestration: Advanced proficiency in Docker container lifecycle management and Kubernetes administration/troubleshooting.
- CI/CD & GitOps: Hands-on mastery of GitHub, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, and writing clean, maintainable YAML manifests.
- Observability: Strong real-world experience setting up dashboards, alerts, and log parsing in Splunk and Dynatrace.
- API & Networking: Solid understanding of REST APIs, AWS API Gateway, load balancing, reverse proxies, and microservices networking.
- Production Support: Proven track record in high-severity incident management, troubleshooting complex distributed applications, and maintaining 99.9%+ availability.
- Leadership: Proven ability to manage, unblock, and elevate offshore technical teams while coordinating across distributed global time zones.
