Job Description:
- Strong experience in AWS cloud infrastructure and platform engineering, including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, Glue, Athena, EMR, CloudWatch, and Secrets Manager.
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, Docker, Linux, Shell scripting, and CI/CD, preferably GitLab CI.
- Proven expertise in production support, incident response, monitoring, alerting, troubleshooting, and pipeline health management.
- Strong experience managing data pipelines, data lakes, batch/streaming workloads, data freshness, quality, SLA monitoring, backfills, and recovery.
- Proficient in Python, boto3, REST APIs, automation, CLI tools, scripts, and utility services.
- Experience with AWS cost optimization, resource right-sizing, infrastructure spend, AI/token cost monitoring, and cost modeling.
- Experience supporting AI/ML and LLM agent infrastructure, including deployment, observability, availability, and token usage monitoring.
- Strong software engineering practices including Git, code reviews, modular design, dependency management, unit/integration testing, and CI/CD automation.
- Strong technical leadership and offshore team management, with ability to mentor engineers, establish runbooks, and independently resolve production issues.
- Preferred exposure to Spark/Scala, Kafka, Airflow, Neptune/Neo4j, FastAPI/Flask, and telecom/network operations.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or related field, or relevant experience
Related Experience
· Bachelor's degree: 8+ years of platform/infrastructure engineering experience, including 2+ years in a lead or senior role
· Master's degree: 6+ years of platform/infrastructure engineering experience, including 2+ years in a lead or senior role
