Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our software products and services. With your strong knowledge of DevOps principles and practices, you will play a key role in driving our continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure and deployment pipelines, ensuring the scalability, availability, and performance of applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Development, Operations, and QA, to define and implement CI/CD processes and best practices.
- Automate and streamline build, deployment, and release processes using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar platforms.
- Configure, monitor, and manage cloud infrastructure and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud) to support applications and business operations.
- Implement and maintain configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, and Puppet) to ensure consistent and reproducible environments.
- Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for optimization while ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve application deployment architecture, ensuring efficient resource utilization and scalability.
- Implement and maintain security practices and controls, including vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and access management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues, working closely with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime and operational impact.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in DevOps tools and practices, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a DevOps or related role, with a strong focus on infrastructure and CI/CD pipeline management.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud platforms.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Groovy, and Bash.
- In-depth knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar platforms, with experience implementing and maintaining pipelines.
- Strong understanding of configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles using tools such as Terraform.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, cloud security best practices, and experience implementing security controls in cloud environments.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, along with orchestration frameworks.
- Understanding of GitOps processes and FluxCD.
- Proven track record of troubleshooting complex infrastructure and deployment issues and implementing scalable solutions.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
