Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced On-Prem DevOps Engineer to manage and automate on-premises infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and application environments. The candidate should have strong experience with DevOps tools, Linux, containers, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and infrastructure automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.
- Manage and support on-premises servers and infrastructure.
- Work with Linux/Unix environments, shell scripting, and system administration.
- Deploy and manage applications using Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
- Automate infrastructure and configuration management using Ansible and/or Terraform.
- Manage source code repositories using Git/GitLab/Bitbucket.
- Automate application deployments and environment provisioning.
- Monitor application and infrastructure performance and troubleshoot production issues.
- Work with tools such as Nexus/Artifactory, SonarQube, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Collaborate with development, QA, infrastructure, and security teams.
- Support production releases, incident resolution, and environment upgrades.
- Implement best practices for security, availability, backup, and disaster recovery.
Required Skills
- 5-8 years of experience in DevOps / Infrastructure / Deployment.
- Strong hands-on experience in On-Premises environments.
- Jenkins and CI/CD.
- Linux/Unix administration.
- Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
- Ansible.
- Git/GitLab/Bitbucket.
- Shell scripting; Python is an advantage.
- Good understanding of networking, servers, and infrastructure.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
