We are looking for a Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer to help us build engineer and design cloud based solutions and tooling to support DevOps and development capabilities. We are looking for someone who can work alongside multiple DevOps and development teams and who is self motivated and able to actively contribute new ideas to the multi hybrid cloud platform and services we support.
The focus is on enabling teams to deliver independently with a strong emphasis on automation self service provision of guardrails and embedding process and governance into workflow and technology.
In your role as Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer you will work in an agile way with global product project and platform teams to build manage and support a range of public cloud and infrastructure services. You will join AZ Cloud Solutions Engineering team part of cloud and infrastructure.
You will have the opportunity to lead initiatives within the team forming squads to deliver. You are confident and willing to share ideas feedback and feedforward.
In depth experience with setup configuration and maintenance of cloud services. Experience with a range of automated deployment tools. Ability to learn and develop new technical skills as required to support a multi hybrid cloud strategy.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently to deliver objectives. Experience working in agile teams using methodologies such as SCRUM and SAFe and tools like Jira and Confluence.
Experience in cloud design and system maintenance recovery and administration across Linux and Windows.
DevOps experience with skills in automation and tools such as GitHub GitHub Actions CloudFormation Lambda Terraform.
Strong problem solving skills with the ability to communicate solutions clearly and in a timely manner. Trusted to handle sensitive information.
Positive approach and ability to collaborate with peers focused on continuous learning and customer outcomes.
Adaptable to processes customer requirements and new ways of working. Willing to take initiative speak up and contribute ideas.
