The Jar app is a habit-building micro-savings platform that helps users save fixed amounts from as little as ₹10 in 24K digital gold. Our users also have the option to convert these savings to cash or physical gold at their convenience.
Jar also effortlessly facilitates investments by enabling users to save while they spend, utilising our round-off method, like a digital piggy bank.
Founded by Misbah Ashraf, former founder of community-focused e-commerce platform Marsplay, and Nishchay AG, former director and founding member at mobility start-up Bounce, Jar's unwavering mission is to shatter psychological barriers to saving and investing, thus spearheading the Financial Fitness revolution for Bharat.

Jar Ready Cash
Jar Ready Cash is Jar's loan product with a 100% digital journey, no paperwork and quick disbursals so that customers can access credit conveniently. With flexible repayments and help just a click away, customers don't have to break their savings when an emergency comes calling.
Nek
Nek is an affordable luxury jewellery brand that is powered by Jar. It is the culmination of what we know best; affordability, the value of gold and crafting incredible connections. Nek's wide collection of silver and gold jewellery is made with meticulous artisanship to celebrate you and find the magic in every occasion.
Responsibilities
- 3-5 years of software development, operations experience deploying and maintaining multi-tiered infrastructure and applications at scale.
- Design cloud infrastructure that is secure, scalable, and highly available on AWS.
- Experience managing any distributed NoSQL system (Kafka/Cassandra/etc.)
- Experience with Containers, Microservices, deployment and service orchestration using Kubernetes, EKS (preferred), AKS or GKE.
- Strong scripting language knowledge, such as Python, Shell.
- Experience and a deep understanding of Kubernetes.
- Experience in Continuous Integration and Delivery.
- Work collaboratively with software engineers to define infrastructure and deployment requirements.
- Provision, configure and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Ensure configuration and compliance with configuration management tools.
- Administer and troubleshoot Linux based systems.
- Troubleshoot problems across a wide array of services and functional areas.
- Build and maintain operational tools for deployment, monitoring, and analysis of AWS infrastructure and systems.
- Perform infrastructure cost analysis and optimization.
- Understanding of open telemetry concepts and work on instrumenting observability and tracing on the platform.

- You will be working on AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Computer Networks, Linux, Jenkins, Open Telemetry, Envoy, Istio, Jenkins, Cloud Security & SIEM stacks and Terraform.
