Job description : DevOps Data Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Engineer to join our team. In this critical role, you will oversee our systems infrastructure, implement robust security practices, and ensure the efficiency and reliability of our enterprise data systems. This role requires a strong background in monitoring tools, data platform tools, customer support, and IT security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring Processes:
- Actively monitor operational processes to ensure efficiency and compliance with standards.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes to enhance process performance.
- Incident Management:
- Oversee the investigation and management of incidents.
- Implement effective incident management processes and protocols.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of incidents.
- User Service and Support:
- Understand and address the needs and concerns of the plateform.
- Ensure high levels of user satisfaction by providing effective support and solutions.
- Collaborate with support teams to improve service delivery and user experience.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience with Azure Monitoring.
- Proficiency in monitoring tools and data management.
- Knowledge of orchestration solutions like Azure DevOps, DollarU, Jenkins, GitLab, etc.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and principles.
- Experience in identifying and resolving cloud performance issues.
- Hands-on experience with data analytics.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Mandatory knowledge of SQL.
Nice to have:
· Hands-on experience with Python
· Understanding of Cloud Platform Engineering and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
· Knowledge of monitoring tools like Elastic, DataDog, etc.
· Knowledge on Azure machine learning
· Experience with Azure SQL or Snowflake Data Warehouse implementation.
· Ability to provide Tier 2 support for infrastructure-related issues.
· Knowledge implementing Azure Databricks, PySpark, and CosmosDB.
· Knowledge with Docker APIs.
· Knowledge in IaC solutions such as Terraform and Azure CLI.
· Knowledge of version control systems like Git, Bitbucket, GitLab, etc.
· Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance our data platform.
