Join us as Devops Engineer - Support and you will write a new chapter of code for Gaming Group. We’re looking for an ambitious and fast-paced learner, who will be responsible for implementing game functionality, translating design ideas, concepts, and requirements into functional and engaging iGaming content. Our Game Studio has several game projects running simultaneously, so expect to work as part of a team, but with plenty of opportunities to take responsibility on an individual level. AWS Services:
• Proficiency in setting up and managing EC2 instances, S3 storage, VPC (Virtual Private Cloud), IAM (Identity and Access Management), Route 53 (DNS service), and CloudFormation (Infrastructure as Code).
• Experience with AWS monitoring and logging services like CloudWatch and CloudTrail.
MongoDB:
• Installation, configuration, and administration of MongoDB databases in both standalone and replica set environments.
• Understanding of MongoDB sharding and scaling strategies.
• Proficiency in MongoDB security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and encryption.
• Experience with performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting MongoDB deployments.
Linux:
• Strong command-line skills in Linux distributions (Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.).
• System administration tasks including package management (apt, yum), file system management (ext4, XFS), and user management.
• Shell scripting (Bash) for automation of routine tasks and system maintenance.
• Networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls (iptables), and VPN configuration.
General Skills:
• Troubleshooting skills to diagnose issues related to AWS infrastructure, MongoDB databases, and Linux systems.
• Incident management and escalation procedures to ensure timely resolution of critical issues.
• Strong understanding of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) practices for service management.
• Documentation skills for maintaining clear and concise records of configurations, procedures, and incidents.
