Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in managing and deploying cloud infrastructure and applications. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and reliable infrastructure on AWS using EKS, Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, and Docker.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable and reliable infrastructure on AWS.
- Manage Kubernetes clusters using AWS EKS.
- Deploy and manage Elasticsearch clusters, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Implement and manage containerized applications using Docker.
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and maintenance tasks.
- Implement security best practices, including RBAC, ABAC, and IP filtering.
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong experience with AWS services, particularly EKS.
- Proficiency in managing Kubernetes clusters.
- Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch deployment and management.
- Strong knowledge of Docker and container orchestration.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Understanding of networking, security, and monitoring best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or Chef.
