Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
- Kong API Gateway Management: Configure and manage Kong API gateway instances effectively to secure and optimize API traffic. Implement authentication, authorization, rate limiting, logging, and monitoring functionalities to ensure the security and performance of APIs.
- Infrastructure Automation: Drive automation across the infrastructure using DevOps practices. Implement infrastructure as code (IaC), continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, configuration management, and monitoring solutions to streamline deployment processes and improve system reliability.
- Architectural Design: Lead the architectural design and implementation of scalable, resilient, and efficient systems leveraging Kong, Kubernetes, and DevOps principles. Design solutions that meet current and future business needs while adhering to best practices in cloud native architecture.
- Kubernetes Orchestration: Deploy, scale, and manage containerized applications on Kubernetes clusters. Utilize Kubernetes features such as auto-scaling, networking, and storage to optimize application performance and ensure scalability.
- Collaboration and Mentoring: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technological initiatives forward. Mentor junior engineers, share knowledge, and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the organization.
