DevOps Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our infrastructure, ensuring the seamless deployment and operation of applications. You will work closely with software developers, system operators, and other IT staff to manage code releases, automate processes, and maintain the stability and scalability of our Solutions
Responsibilities:
Ø Develop and manage Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for new applications and services.
Ø Possess intermediate knowledge and responsibilities related to managing Redhat/CentOS systems.
Ø Exhibit expert-level proficiency in UNIX/Linux environments.
Ø Experienced in managing Linux servers within virtualized environments.
Ø Skilled in troubleshooting, installing, maintaining, and tuning Linux/Unix operating systems.
Ø Capable of diagnosing and resolving issues with Apache Tomcat.
Ø Proficient in installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and deploying web services and tools such as HTTP, Tomcat, Nginx, HAProxy, and Keep alived.
Ø Automate cloud operations, deployments, monitoring, and performance optimization to streamline processes.
Ø Design, build, and maintain high-availability clusters and environments for databases and applications across diverse infrastructures.
Ø Perform system troubleshooting and resolve issues across platform and application domains.
Ø Create and enhance tools for system observability, focusing on improved monitoring and logging capabilities.
Ø Collaborate effectively with team members, including Architects and Tech Leads, to finalize implementation plans for various applications and services.
Ø Create and maintain build and release pipelines for both legacy and new services, ensuring zero-downtime deployments using Jenkins.
Ø Develop automation scripts to ensure consistent deployment, maintenance, and operation of products and services.
Ø Manage networking configurations for cloud-hosted services, ensuring adherence to security best practices.
Ø Oversee the deployment, release, and management of production systems, maintaining system reliability and performance.
Requirements
Ø A minimum of 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
Ø Willingness to travel to client locations as required.
Ø Extensive hands-on experience with AWS, Jenkins, Python/Bash scripting, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Ø Proficient in using source control management tools like Bitbucket or GitHub, with a strong understanding of patch management, threat detection, and prevention.
Ø Knowledgeable in networking patterns across cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure.
Ø Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
Ø Experienced in deployment automation and configuration management using tools like Chef, Ansible, Terraform, and CloudFormation.
Ø Strong understanding of AWS services, including EC2, RDS, S3, EBS, and EKS, with familiarity in data stores like Elasticsearch and Redis.
Ø Proficient in utilizing monitoring and observability tools like Loki, Promtail, ELK, Prometheus, and Grafana.
