Project Role Description : Responsible for building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure utilizing knowledge in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration and Security. Build and test end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that systems are safe against security threats.

Summary:
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure utilizing knowledge in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration and Security. You will build and test end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that systems are safe against security threats. Your typical day will involve collaborating with multiple teams, making key decisions, and providing solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Design, development & delivery of updates to existing container images and pipeline, as part of small team.
- Write and maintain Perl/Python and Shell scripts to automate processes and enhance productivity.
- Develop in Golang and similar programming languages. Deploy using Docker, Helm, and Kubernetes pipelines.
- Execute with an enterprise cloud mindset to deliver on security guidelines, compliance guidelines, and infrastructure initiatives with engineering program management.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Ensure the continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines are built and tested.
- Implement security measures to protect systems against threats.
- Utilize cloud technologies and container orchestration to set up new development tools and infrastructure.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance the CI/CD processes.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Service Mesh Architecture, DevOps, Python (Programming Language), PERL Scripts.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration, and Security.
- Professional software development experience.
- Ability to write clean and scalable code using Golang, Python, Groovy, or similar technologies.
- Ability to maintain existing Perl scripts for process automation required. • Prior experience with Docker, Git, Bash.
- Prior usage of pipelines (CodeBuild), YAML, Templating (Jinja, GO templates), and networking concepts required.
- Experience with Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, and knowledge of hyperscaler primitives required.
- Alignment of work schedule with either North American business day or EMEA business day.
- DevOps mentality with an understanding of Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Monitoring and Observability.
- Experience in CI/CD and devops tools like Jenkins, Artifactory, Docker, Vault preferred.
- Hands-on experience with cloud native solutions is preferred.
- Strong understanding of continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD) processes.
- Experience in building and testing end-to-end CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies and container orchestration platforms.
- Familiarity with security measures and best practices.
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Python and PERL.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CI/CD pipelines.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Service Mesh Architecture.
- This position is based at our Coimbatore office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
