Summary:
As a Cloud Services Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring Cloud orchestration and automation capability is operating based on target SLAs with minimal downtime. Your typical day will involve acting as a liaison between the client and Accenture operations teams for support and escalations, communicating service delivery health to all stakeholders, and holding performance meetings to share performance and consumption data and trends.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between the client and Accenture operations teams for support and escalations.
- Communicate service delivery health to all stakeholders and explain any performance issues or risks.
- Ensure Cloud orchestration and automation capability is operating based on target SLAs with minimal downtime.
- Hold performance meetings to share performance and consumption data and trends.
- Manage operations team to support the Storage and Backup IT infrastructure in operations, change management, and maintain ongoing improvements of all technologies.
- Primary focus on Backup and Storage Technologies
- Ensure backup configuration is adequately configured and disaster recovery in place. Deliver standard service documentation to facilitate operational
- Develop automation for deployment, ongoing management and operational service delivery
- Installation, Configuration, Troubleshooting, Deployment, Monitoring Experience on Storage products
- Evaluating end user permission and storage requests
- Demonstrate knowledge of storage, hardware, software, and storage area network (SAN) technologies and Cloud storage
- Responsible for implementing and managing all aspects of Storage infrastructure monitoring, incident response and management.
- Data protection management (clone and BCV)
- Collaborate with DBA and Ops team to assure appropriate storage usage and space cleanup.
- Data Center Cloud Services Support
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Experience in Storage Area Networks (SAN) Architecture and Design.
- Good To Have Skills: No Technology Specialization.
- Experience in performance monitoring and management.
- Experience in SLA management.
- Experienced in Data centers, disaster recovery & Mock drill, BCP Enablement activities, supporting heterogeneous IT Service and System Integration accounts, deep SME support and client value add. storage technologies with 3rd party virtualization platforms such as VMware .Deep and wide knowledge of storage (NAS, cloud, backup)
- Experience in coordination, validation and planning for required firmware/patches / microcode upgrade activities.
- Experience on concepts of Performance, Availability and Capacity management of Storage infrastructure
- Hands on experience in debugging and fixing production related problems that are escalated
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Storage Area Networks (SAN) Architecture and Design.
