Job Overview: Twerlo seeks a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to join our Bangalore office. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in AWS deployments, automation scripting, and containerization. You should possess strong problem-solving abilities and be eager to contribute to a dynamic and growing organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy, manage, and maintain AWS infrastructure, ensuring high availability and scalability.
- Work extensively with Ubuntu on the command line, utilizing tools like apt, netcat, netstat, iptables, and route for network management.
- Automate deployment processes using GitHub Actions, ensuring smooth CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop and maintain Docker environments, including writing Dockerfiles and managing Docker Compose configurations.
- Create and maintain automation scripts using Shell (Bash) or Python to streamline operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field from a well-reputed institute in India.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience with AWS deployments and AWS console.
- Experience working with Ubuntu on the command-line including “apt”. Strong knowledge of the Linux networking stack and tools (netcat, netstat, iptables, route etc)
- Proficiency in using GitHub Actions for deployments.
- Expertise in Docker, including writing Dockerfiles and using Docker Compose.
- Proficiency in Shell (Bash) or Python scripting for automation.
Nice to have Qualifications:
- Experience with GitHub Dev Containers.
- Familiarity with Grafana/Prometheus or the ELK stack for monitoring.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes.
- Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code
